Petdirect

Petdirect, New Zealand online store for dogs and cats

Petdirect is a New Zealand online store dedicated to food, treats and accessories for dogs and cats. Its catalogue is organised into two main areas, one for dogs and one for cats, and ranges from dry and wet food to veterinary diets, supplements, parasite treatments, toys, beds, carriers, bowls, harnesses and grooming products. The company presents itself as "100% NZ Owned", that is, New Zealand owned.

Range for dogs

The dog section includes dry, wet, freeze-dried and dehydrated food, as well as veterinary diets and specific foods for puppies and senior dogs. It is complemented by a wide selection of treats — dental, natural, soft, freeze-dried and New Zealand-made —, flea and tick treatments for topical or oral application, anti-parasitic shampoos and products against mites and ticks. In canine health there are supplements for digestion, skin and coat, joints and bones, anxiety, dental care, allergies, weight management and urinary tract. Accessories bring together toys, clothing, grooming items, bowls, beds, kennels, travel items and collars, leads and harnesses.

Range for cats

The feline section replicates that structure with dry, wet, freeze-dried and dehydrated food, veterinary diets and food for kittens and senior cats. Treats are divided into biscuits and crunchy products, dental, freeze-dried, natural and soft. Parasite care includes topical and oral treatments, shampoos and products against fleas, mites, ticks and worms. Feline health covers digestive, skin and coat, joint, dental care, anxiety, ear and eye and recovery supplements.
