About Trattoria Tre Marchetti Verona

Tre Marchetti stands at 19/B on the street of the same name, almost in the Arena’s shadow. The restaurant family traces its trade to the 1960s and presents the table as an interpretation of home-style Veronese cooking, drawing on produce from Lessinia, the countryside and the Adriatic. The dining room has its own aesthetic and a visual-experience room designed to combine light and colour with the dishes. It is not a balcony inside the amphitheatre: the advantage is a meal a few steps away without being confined to Piazza Bra’s front-row restaurants.

The restaurant website lists traditional dishes, desserts and a wine list of more than 1,200 labels, and accepts reservations. General hours are 12:00–14:30 and 19:00–22:30 every day. Its introduction mentions special late openings on some opera nights; that should not be read as a routine 04:00 closing time. If an Arena performance ends late, check the hours for that date before planning dinner. For lunch after a daytime visit to the amphitheatre, arrive within the midday service.

Many diners praise the decor, flavours and closeness to the landmark. Others describe service details that fell short of a special-occasion meal. The wine selection rewards time and questions if you want to explore Veneto rather than order the first familiar red. Compared with Torcolo’s signature trolley of boiled meats, Tre Marchetti is a choice for trying different regional dishes in a more theatrical room; both warrant a look at the menu and budget before deciding.
