ALTERNATE

ALTERNATE combines an online technology store with several customer-service and pickup locations in Linden. Its catalog spans computers, hardware, servers and workstations, laptops, 3D printers, gaming, phones, smart-home gear, TVs, audio, and appliances. The company says its range includes more than 85,000 products. Customers can shop online, check product availability, and configure a computer for a specific use.

The computer section brings together components for building or upgrading a system, gaming computers, ready-to-use PCs, notebooks, and office solutions. The PC Builder lets shoppers select parts and assemble a configuration around their intended use. For business customers, ALTERNATE offers personal contacts, project pricing, net invoicing, credit purchases subject to approval, and leasing options.

Beyond computer hardware, ALTERNATE sells smartphones, Apple products, robotics, lighting, tools, garden equipment, grills, camping and outdoor gear, software, toys, and refurbished products. The catalog is organized by category and promotions, with daily deals, an outlet, and featured items. That breadth lets customers combine technology purchases with other household needs.

Store 1 at Philipp-Reis-Straße 2–3 brings together computers, TVs, and audio and also houses the service point for returns and equipment submitted for repair or upgrades. The service counter has different hours from the retail store. The website says repairs and upgrades are accepted there, so customers should check which jobs are handled before visiting.

The company separates order pickup from in-store shopping. Logistics Center II is at Konrad-Zuse-Straße 7 in Linden, and Center IV is at Siemensstraße 8, also in Linden; both serve as pickup locations and require orders to be paid for first at Store 1. Another pickup warehouse is listed at Grüninger Weg 48 in Pohlheim, with its own schedule.

For grills and accessories, ALTERNATE operates a separate Grill Store at Robert-Bosch-Straße 26–28 in Linden. Its selection focuses on grills and related items, with in-person shopping and payment options listed for that location. This specialized branch keeps outdoor cooking products distinct from the company’s broader technology catalog.

Phone and social-media support are listed on weekdays during daytime hours, while each store and pickup point follows its own schedule. ALTERNATE also provides email assistance and tools for order tracking, returns, and complaints. The main address belongs to Store 1; the other sites handle grill shopping or specific pickups rather than serving as interchangeable branches.
