BikeToyz, wholesale supplier for the bicycle sector in Denmark and Sweden

The company has accumulated over 25 years of activity in the bicycle business and operates through an online store with prior registration for professional customers, to whom it offers specific distributor conditions.

Its catalogue is organised into four main blocks: bags, wheels and tyres, bike carriers, and components and accessories. The company states that it works with recognised brands in the sector and that its stated goal is for the customer to receive products of proven quality.

Bags and luggage for cycling

The bags section includes panniers and bike bags, bikepacking bags, handlebar bags, saddle bags and rack-top bags, as well as baskets. Within travel luggage, it offers duffle bags, expedition bags, backpacks — bike backpacks, daypacks and messenger bags —, travel backpacks and dry bags and cases, plus water transport accessories. The Cyber Line is marketed as a limited edition, alongside the TIDURA range.

Wheels, tyres and components

The wheels and tyres section is divided by disciplines: gravel, road and MTB, with wheels, tyres and specific spare parts for each. In components, there are pedals, cranksets, chain rings, bottom brackets, handlebars, bar tape and grips, stems and saddles, as well as tubeless solutions such as rim tape, sealant and valves. The company also distributes Mavic products: rims, decals, spokes and hub parts. The offer is completed by tools, bike carriers and suspension forks and shocks, with their corresponding parts and accessories.

Commercial conditions for professionals

BikeToyz works exclusively with professional customers. Orders can be placed through the website or by email, and those received before 13:00 are prepared for same-day dispatch. Delivery is handled by Danske Fragtmænd or Post Nord, with an estimated time of one to three working days.

Regarding shipping, standard shipping of spare parts and equipment costs 75 kroner; orders under 500 kroner incur a handling fee of 75 kroner, while spare parts orders over 2,000 kroner are shipped free of charge. The usual payment term for account purchases is eight days net, with interest of 2% for each month overdue and a surcharge of 200 kroner per reminder.

Conditions for distributors

The bicycles and their parts supplied by BikeToyz are intended solely for resale to the end consumer from the point of sale to which the shipment has been directed. As long as the business relationship is maintained, the distributor must keep a commercial premises with a street-level facade and shop window, have trained staff who participate in the sales and service courses organised by BikeToyz, maintain product range and display throughout the year, and have its own workshop and qualified technical staff. It must also store the necessary spare parts for the maintenance of the supplied products. Orders for technical spare parts are only accepted by indicating the manufacturer's reference.

Returns, claims and warranty

Returns require prior agreement with BikeToyz ApS and are only accepted if the product retains its original unopened packaging and a copy of the invoice is attached. A handling fee of 10% applies to returns, which is waived when the reason is an error in order preparation. Returns are not accepted after more than 14 days from the invoice date. In professional purchases there is no right of withdrawal.

In the event of incorrect or damaged goods, the customer must contact the company within a maximum of five working days from receipt. Claims for defective products are processed only with prior contact and an RMA number; they must include a description of the fault and a copy of the proof of purchase, and reach BikeToyz within a maximum of 14 days from when the consumer claimed to the distributor. The company may request the collection of the claim, invoiced to the distributor at 100 kroner, an amount that is paid if the claim is approved. If accepted, the product is replaced with an equivalent one or repaired; if it is discontinued, an attempt is made to replace it with a similar item. The warranty does not cover wear parts such as chains, brake pads and discs, bearings, hubs or cassettes — unless there is a defect beyond expected wear —, nor rust, lack of maintenance, external damage, misuse, incorrect assembly or structural modifications.
