About Fastspeed

Fastspeed: high-speed internet in Denmark

Fastspeed is a Danish provider of internet, mobile telephony and television services. The company presents itself as a fast and affordable internet option, with nationwide coverage thanks to a combination of technologies: fibre optics, coaxial cable broadband and mobile 5G. Its main offering includes 1000 Mbit connections, with availability of up to 2000 Mbit at selected locations.

Internet services

Fastspeed markets three types of connection depending on the infrastructure available at each address:

  • Fibre: the fastest and most stable solution, aimed at households with high speed requirements.
  • Coax/cable: a fast and reliable connection that covers most streaming, gaming and remote working needs.
  • Mobile broadband (4G/5G): a flexible option for locations without access to fibre or coax, with simple installation.

The service includes a router in the subscription, the model of which depends on the technology contracted. The company states that it uses latest-generation routers to optimise the internet and wifi experience in the home.

Mobile telephony

Fastspeed has recently launched its mobile telephony service. The announced plan includes unlimited calls, SMS and MMS, together with 30 GB of data, of which 20 GB are valid in the EU. The promotional price is 49 Danish kroner per month for the first six months, with a subsequent rate of 99 kroner per month. The service uses 5G and eSIM technology.

Television and combined packages

The company offers four TV packages in collaboration with Allente, which include access to Viaplay. Fastspeed internet customers can obtain a fixed discount of up to 20% on their TV package. The "Underholdning" and "Premium" packages include TV 2 Play and allow streaming services to be changed monthly at no additional cost, with options such as HBO Max, Nordisk Film+, SkyShowtime, Prime or Apple TV, among others. Content is accessible on television, mobile, tablet and set-top box.

Internet for businesses and organisations

Fastspeed offers internet solutions for individuals, residents' communities, businesses and employees. For businesses and public administrations, it has the employer-paid internet modality, known as "employee internet" or "home workplace". For residents' associations, communal antennas and housing cooperatives, the company provides services tailored to their needs.

Sign-up process

The sign-up process consists of three steps: the customer enters their address, selects the internet service and completes their details; payment is only made once the connection is active. Fastspeed offers help to cancel the contract with the previous provider. Optionally, a discounted TV package can be added. The company also has a telephone customer service to assist with sign-up.

Promotions and gifts

When signing up for internet, Fastspeed offers three gifts: a free one-year subscription to Norton 360 (valued at 899 kroner), two free months of Mofibo with access to more than 600,000 books and audiobooks, and three free months of Flipp with more than 90 digital magazine titles. These promotions are subject to conditions and availability.

Awards and customer ratings

The company states that it has been awarded best customer service in the Danish internet sector for several consecutive years. According to its data, it holds the number one position on Google and maintains a score of 4.7 on Trustpilot, with thousands of satisfied customers. Fastspeed presents itself as one of the country's most popular options thanks to its combination of speed, price and service.
