La Cabra is a modern coffee company founded in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2011. In 2013 it began sourcing and roasting its own coffee, which allowed it to control the chain from origin to cup. The company presents itself as an internationally recognised coffee roaster and maintains a team that runs its coffee bars and bakery in Aarhus.

Its single-roast philosophy seeks to offer memorable coffee experiences, with innovation and traceability at every step of the process, from cherry to cup.

Single-origin coffee and subscriptions

La Cabra's catalogue is organised around single-origin coffees, with references from countries such as Guatemala, Ethiopia, Kenya and Colombia. Featured offerings include Terra, described as a rounded, full-bodied coffee with notes of cocoa, ripe fruit and sweetness; La Colina (Guatemala), Shantawene (Ethiopia), Las Flores de Cafe (Guatemala), Kiangoi (Kenya) and Alto Naranjal (Colombia). Limited or rare editions such as Oma Natural and Oma Washed (Ethiopia) are also offered.

The company sells coffee in 100 g, 200 g, 250 g and 1 kg formats, and offers coffee in ready-to-brew single-serve bags, such as Shyira Washed and Shyira Anaerobic 48hr. It also offers coffee subscriptions with options such as Rituals and Profiles, and the possibility of gifting a subscription.

Equipment, stoneware and other products

Alongside coffee, La Cabra sells brewing equipment, water filtration, glassware, chocolate, merchandise and gift cards. Its shop includes the K.H. Würtz stoneware collection, with pieces such as 120 ml, 180 ml and 220 ml cups, espresso cups, plates and bowls in different collections (Graphite, Aarhus, Reduction, among others). It also offers coffee courses.

International presence and bakery

The company operates coffee bars and a bakery, and its presence extends to Denmark, New York, Oman and Bangkok. La Cabra's bakery is part of its activity and appears as a space of its own within its offering.

Wholesale and collaborations

La Cabra has a wholesale programme and specific access for wholesale partners, as well as office coffee services and collaborations. The company also publishes brew guides for methods such as V60, French Press, Aeropress and espresso.
