Saint Peter is an Australian restaurant specialising in fish, led by chef Josh Niland. It is located in The Grand National Hotel, in Paddington, and combines a dining offering with boutique accommodation in the same building.

Spaces for eating and drinking

The establishment is built around two main areas. The Dining Room serves lunch from Thursday to Sunday and dinner every day. The Bar welcomes walk-ins at all times and also accepts bookings, although they are not required.

Menus and published prices

The menu includes a lunch menu at $195 per person and a dinner tasting menu at $395 per person. The kitchen closes at 9pm.

Events and private dining

The restaurant has a private dining room seating up to 14 guests, with its own entrance on Elizabeth Street. The main dining room seats up to 40, and the whole venue can be booked for events.

Accommodation and packages

Above the restaurant are the hotel's rooms and suites. There is a combined dine and stay package that includes a room on the upper floor, exclusive rates, a canapé and a welcome drink, Saint Peter breakfast and late checkout.

Awards

The restaurant holds three hats in the Good Food Guide and is ranked No. 66 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 extended list, where it is the only Australian restaurant included.
