Spacca Napoli Pizzeria

Spacca Napoli Pizzeria is located at 1769 W Sunnyside Ave in Ravenswood and has spent nearly two decades pursuing traditional Neapolitan pizza in Chicago. Owner Jon Goldsmith is a certified pizzaiuolo, and the restaurant’s identity is built around technique, daily dough work and close attention to carefully sourced ingredients.

The pizzas are baked in an oven built by artisans from Naples. The result follows the Neapolitan model: a thin, tender center, puffed and lightly charred cornicione, and toppings that range from classics such as Margherita and Bufalina to options including Diavola, Pistacchio and Prosciutto e Rucola. Antipasti, salads and Italian desserts round out the menu.

Reservations are taken by phone for indoor dining, while patio seating is first come, first served. The restaurant is closed Monday and divides service between lunch and dinner Tuesday through Thursday.
