About Downtown Wilmington Farmers Market at Rodney Square

Rodney Square’s market occupies the block-like civic green between Market and King streets and 10th and 11th streets. Downtown Visions says the city partnership began in 1988 and describes a weekly mix of farmers, bakers, craftspeople and prepared-food sellers. Its public listing highlights produce, plants, herbs, flowers, crafts and prepared meals, with live entertainment and café tables. Downtown Visions reports an average of more than 30 vendors, though individual lineups are not guaranteed from week to week.

The 2026 market ran Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 6 through Oct. 28, and is now closed for the season. Delaware’s Department of Agriculture lists FMNP as accepted. Downtown Visions’ vendor application mentions 25 free spaces for vendors, not for shoppers. DART First State’s downtown map shows nearby route stops and the Wilmington Transit Center; drivers should consult the city’s current commercial-garage and metered-parking information rather than assume a free public lot.
