BTOD.com

Greg Knighton grew up in the office-furniture industry and began selling products while studying business. He founded BTOD.com in 2005; his college friend Ryan Bald initially helped with sales and later became a partner. The company, whose full name is Beyond The Office Door, opened its first location in Wausau, Wisconsin, and now lists its business address in Weston.

The current selection brings together new furniture and refurbished chairs. Seating categories distinguish ergonomic chairs, mesh models, options for big and tall users, and designs for people of smaller stature. There are also drafting chairs, standing-desk chairs, and models for around-the-clock workstations. This structure gives dedicated space to working needs that a standard chair may not address.

Desks include height-adjustable models, home-office workstations, and L-shaped or U-shaped configurations. VertDesk is among the lines that have shaped the company’s history, alongside Raynor’s Ergohuman chairs. The catalog allows the main workstation to be combined with CPU holders, monitor arms, keyboard trays, and cable-management accessories.

Reception areas have a separate selection: Lesro sets, benches, higher-capacity seating, sofas, loveseats, and occasional tables. Conference and training furniture, file cabinets, and storage solutions complete the furnishing of shared spaces. BTOD.com works with businesses of different sizes and offers specific support for small businesses and government agencies.

Product evaluation is part of the store’s presentation. The company states that its team tests items and maintains a learning center with furniture reviews and related content. These comparisons accompany chair and desk purchases, alongside US-based customer support and volume-pricing options.

The current address is 5508 E. Jelinek Avenue, Weston, WI 54476. Purchases are handled online, with an account for checking orders and sections explaining how to submit purchase orders. The business retains the specialization described in its history: furnishing workstations and reception areas through specific product families, with advice and resources for comparing options.
