Sacramento City College — West Sacramento Center

West Sacramento Center is a Sacramento City College extension on the west bank of the Sacramento River, across from West Sacramento City Hall. Its first site opened in 1999; the current location moved to West Capitol Avenue in 2010. It provides a nearby way to complete general courses and receive student support in Yolo County.

The three-story building includes classrooms, a computer lab, tutoring, a Writing Center and quiet study space. Staff provide academic and financial-aid counseling, enrollment help and assessment. The college also runs a local fee-free program of up to two years for some recent high-school graduates who live in West Sacramento; check the West Sacramento Promise application and eligibility rules. The address is 1115 West Capitol Avenue.

The center offers counseling by in-person, phone or online appointment. West Sacramento Promise may cover fees for recent graduates who meet residency and other conditions, for up to two years at Sacramento City College locations. Confirm eligibility and apply through the program page.
