About Tire Kingdom by Mavis

Tire Kingdom by Mavis: tires and automotive services in Florida and the Southeast United States

Tire Kingdom is a tire and auto care chain that has operated under Mavis Tire ownership since June 2023, when Mavis acquired the brand from TBC Corporation, including more than 200 company-operated locations. The brand retains its name and its activity focused on Florida and parts of the Southeast, now with the option to schedule appointments online through Mavis.com.

Origin and evolution of the brand

The company was founded in 1972 by Chuck Curcio in a small farmer's market stall in West Palm Beach, Florida. From that start, the brand expanded across the state and earned a reputation built on best-in-class customer service, hard work, and automotive know-how.

During the 1980s and 1990s, Tire Kingdom grew beyond Florida, with openings in Georgia, Louisiana, the Carolinas, and even in New Hampshire and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The brand changed hands several times: it was acquired by Michelin in 1989, sold to an investment group led by Goldman Sachs in 1993, and purchased by TBC Corporation in 2000. Under TBC it continued to grow until, in 2015, a realignment rebranded many out-of-state locations under the NTB name, while the Tire Kingdom brand remained focused primarily on its Florida roots.

Tire and maintenance services

The company offers a full range of automotive services. In the tire category, it provides sales and installation of all major brands, rotation and balancing, and flat tire repair. In maintenance and repair, it covers oil changes and scheduled maintenance, brake inspection and repair, wheel alignment, battery testing and replacement, steering and suspension service, and state vehicle inspections where required.

The tire catalog includes brands such as Bridgestone, BFGoodrich, Cooper, Continental, Firestone, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin, Pirelli, and Yokohama. The company also sells tires for all types of vehicles and offers guidance to choose the right model according to the customer's budget.

Promotions and financing

The Tire Kingdom site shows various offers and rebates. Among them are a $25 statement credit for every Mavis-brand tire purchased with the Tire Kingdom credit card, and 6 months no-interest financing on purchases over $199 with that card. Savings of up to $150 are also advertised on sets of four tires from brands such as Goodyear, Pirelli, and Michelin, with mail-in rebate forms and additional instant discounts on online purchases.

In services, the catalog listed discounts such as $20 on oil changes, $35 on wheel alignment, and up to $80 on brake service, plus free tire rotation. These promotions appear with specific validity dates in the material consulted.

Shop network and customer service

The company is part of the Mavis Tire network, which according to its own presentation has more than 2,100 locations in 36 states and more than 3,500 service points in total. Tire Kingdom offers same-day appointments, expert service, and a price match guarantee. Customers can find their nearest shop and schedule services online.

The company serves both individual drivers and commercial fleets, with a dedicated fleet maintenance area and access to a commercial account.
