de Stefan Chiropractic

A family-run practice on 48th Street

Marie de Stefan, DC, sees patients at 314 48th Street in Union City. She describes more than three decades of chiropractic experience and a family-run office in which her son Billy manages daily operations. The practice is partnered with Hands On Healthcare and lists a second location in Hackensack. Those two offices have different working days; the address on the appointment matters as much as the time.

Services and approach

The practice lists full-body chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, interferential current and heat therapy, as well as care for people who have experienced an automobile injury. These are distinct services; the list does not mean every patient receives each procedure. De Stefan describes working with specialists in orthopedics, spine care and pain management when broader coordination is needed.

The office says it works with many insurance plans, but a specific plan's coverage and the cost of a particular service are not detailed in the information reviewed. Its contact number for calls or text messages is 201-264-3738; administrative inquiries can also be sent to admin@hohcare.org. One written account describes the chiropractor's personable manner, while an older reviewer expressed a very different view of the office. The number of public comments for this location is small.
