About Pima Community College — East Campus

East Campus is at 8181 East Irvington Road, near the Irvington corridor on Tucson’s eastern side. It serves general-education and transfer students, with a particular strength in Information Technology and Veterinary Technology. Its courses can support transfer or career preparation, while each program sets its own course sequence, credits and admission requirements.

The Makerspace gives students a place to work with tools and technology. An affiliated facility, the Arizona Cyberwarfare Range, operates a live cyber range on campus where IT students can observe and manage real threats in an instructional setting. Pima describes it as the nation’s only community-college-based range of its kind. Outdoors, the Sculpture on Campus program, started in 2004, displays contemporary works selected to encourage academic and creative discussion.

Gardens, bridges and outdoor sculptures give this site a different feel from downtown and the campuses focused on specialized services. Pima says students may use services at any of its campuses, with free parking at all locations and Sun Tran routes serving campuses. The library, advising and tutoring have specific mapped locations; check the class building and office hours before making the trip.
