About Pima Community College — Davis-Monthan Education Center
Pima’s Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Education Center is inside the military installation at 5355 East Granite Street, Building 2441, Suite 100. The college offers classes that lead toward degrees or transfer and maintains an office for admission, assessment, academic advising, degree plans and financial-aid assistance. The center’s direct contact is 520-206-4866 or dmec@pima.edu.
The site serves active-duty military and other eligible students. It offers CLEP and DSST exams for active-duty personnel and Department of Defense contractors, and proctors licensing and certification exams. Through General Education Mobile, Pima connects general-education courses with Community College of the Air Force degree requirements. Service members can ask about Tuition Assistance and eligible spouses about MyCAA; each benefit has its own rules and excluded expenses, so confirm coverage before registering.
Access to the base takes planning. Pima says nonmilitary students may attend but must meet identification and entry rules; its student guidance mentions current REAL ID and other steps, and nonmilitary testing requires base access. This is not a site to visit without checking the procedure: call or email first and confirm entry, parking, class location and documents. The college’s location page provides a direct Google Maps route.
