Origin and founders

The company was founded in 2018 by sisters Kristina and Erin Walden, who present themselves as "The Soul Sisters of Tea." The name KēWi stands for their initials: "Kristina & Erin Walden Inspired." According to their account, the project grew out of a family tradition around tea and their interest in holistic wellness, and they note that their mother had already had the idea of starting a tea business before they were born. The founders describe themselves as human services professionals and enthusiasts of holistic self-care.

Crafting method and commitment to ingredients

The brand states that its blends are created mindfully and artisanally from high-quality tea leaves, organic herbs, pure spices and real fruit. Its product principles include premium loose leaf quality, the use of natural ingredients and careful crafting of each blend. The company presents tea drinking as a ritual of self-care and well-being.
