Music Box Attic

Music Box Attic: traditional and modern music boxes with a catalog you can listen to before you buy

Music Box Attic is an online store dedicated to selling traditional and contemporary music boxes. Its offering is built on a broad catalog that combines classic pieces, luxury models, and novelty items, along with a tune library that lets you listen to more than 1,000 songs before deciding to purchase. The company presents itself as a destination specializing in this type of item, with free shipping on all orders within the United States and a 365-day guarantee.

Music boxes by note size

The store organizes much of its selection by the number of notes in the musical mechanism. The catalog includes 18, 23, 28, 30, 36, and 50-note music boxes, as well as 72 and 144-note models. This classification makes it possible to choose the instrument based on the desired melodic complexity, from simple options to higher-capacity mechanisms.

Traditional, Italian, and luxury music boxes

Within the traditional section, Sorrento Italian music boxes stand out, with classic inlays and themed designs covering romantic, floral, children's, and nature motifs. The store also carries Italian music boxes from the Ercolano brand. In the luxury category are 36 and 50-note Reuge models, 50-note Sankyo Orpheus music boxes, 72-note Sankyo-Orpheus pieces, and vintage Reuge music boxes, along with unique, rare, or one-of-a-kind items.

Contemporary music boxes, jewelry boxes, and collectible pieces

The contemporary catalog includes large jewelry boxes, men's wooden valet boxes, medium-sized jewelry boxes, small or no-compartment boxes, fashion jewelry boxes, and luxury models. Also offered are music boxes with a custom-tune USB module, Fabergé-style musical eggs, boxes from the San Francisco Music Box Company, jewelry boxes with LCD video screens, musical picture frames, piano-shaped boxes, crystal and glass pieces, musical snow globes and water globes, musical instrument figurines, decorative figurines, animal and nature boxes, and carousel-shaped boxes.

Customization and gifts by occasion

Music Box Attic allows you to create custom tunes and offers a listening library with the list of available tones. The selection is also organized by recipient — babies and children, women, men, young men and boys, and young women and girls — and by occasion, with sections for Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduations, birthdays, Christmas and holidays, Valentine's Day, weddings and anniversaries, religious events, and births. There are also sports-themed boxes, sports keepsake boxes, gift certificates, and a specific line of corporate gifts.

Cuckoo clocks and musical movements

The store includes a cuckoo clock section with brands such as Engstler, Hones, Progetti, Rombach and Haas, and Trenkle Uhren. The models are classified by movement type: mechanical 1-day, mechanical 8-day, quartz with music, and quartz without music. Musical movements and modules are also sold separately.

Shopping and customer service

The site allows you to compare products, check new arrivals, and access a blog section. The company offers a toll-free phone line and a help email, and sells in US dollars with the option to change the currency to Canadian dollars, Australian dollars, British pounds, Japanese yen, euros, and Swiss francs.
