Fanatec

Fanatec, hardware dedicated to sim racing

Fanatec presents itself as a leading brand in hardware specifically for sim racing. Its catalog spans force feedback steering wheels, pedals, and complete cockpits designed for racing simulators on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The company sells its products through its own online store, with international shipping.

Catalog of steering wheels, wheel bases, and pedals

The offering is organized into several product families: steering wheels, wheel bases, add-ons, pedals, and cockpits or mounting solutions. Notable items in the catalog include the CSL Steering Wheel GT3, the CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC, the CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 with QR2 Lite, the ClubSport Racing Wheel F1, and the Gran Turismo DD Extreme, both at 18 Nm. In wheel bases, there are the CSL DD at 5 Nm with FullForce, the ClubSport DD at 15 Nm, and the ClubSport DD+ at 18 Nm, also with FullForce. The pedal range includes the CSL Pedals, the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit, the CSL Elite Pedals V2, and the ClubSport Pedals V3.

Configurator and selection by driving style

The company offers a sim racing configurator that, according to its own description, eliminates confusion and helps each user build a system tailored to their platform, driving style, and preferences. In addition, the site groups products into themed collections based on driving style: Formula, aimed at fast steering inputs and detailed car adjustments for an F1 experience; GT, with high-performance hardware for grand touring racing; and Rally & Drift, designed for sideways driving.

Purchase, warranty, and support

The store states fast shipping worldwide, a three-year warranty on all products, and a support service described as expert. The catalog shows prices in dollars and variable availability: some items are available and others are on backorder, with estimated shipping dates. The site also announces a 50% discount promotion on the upgrade to QR2 valid until September 30, as well as a competition with the brand's products as prizes.

Corporate and after-sales information

The site publishes sections on the company, frequently asked questions, shipping and delivery, return policy, consumer guarantee, terms of sale, trademarks and copyright, battery regulations, and security vulnerabilities. Fanatec also maintains a blog, a forum, and a program called Fanatec Explorer, and offers a newsletter subscription.
