Beautyrest

Beautyrest: Luxury Mattresses with Pocketed Coil Technology

Beautyrest is a mattress brand that sells its products through its website and a network of authorized retailers. The company presents itself as the inventor of Pocketed Coil® technology and hybrid construction, and claims that for one hundred years it has helped transform the sleep industry. Its proposition focuses on individualized support and motion separation, so that one person's movement in bed is not felt on the other side.

Collections and Featured Models

The catalog is organized into several collections based on price level and features. The value collection is BeautySleep, with prices starting at $229; the signature collection is Beautyrest, starting at $599; the premier collection is World Class, starting at $1,399; and the luxury collection is Black, starting at $1,549. Featured products include the Beautyrest Black® Hybrid XCS models, which the company says offer 30% more cooling power and more advanced individualized support; the Beautyrest Black® Series Two Medium Pillow Top, with instant pressure relief; and the Beautyrest Black® Hybrid Series Four Apex Top, with three additional inches of deeply contouring foam. The Beautyrest® Deluxe Down Alternative pillow is also available, with a cool-to-the-touch surface and responsive support.

Mattress Types and Technologies

The company distinguishes between Quilted Innerspring mattresses, a modern iteration of the classic mattress with a quilted surface, and Smooth Top Hybrid mattresses, which offer a contouring feel. Beautyrest claims to have invented both Pocketed Coil® technology and hybrid construction, as well as King and Queen sizes and the no-flip mattress. Pocketed Coil® technology is presented as a system that contributes to advanced support, pressure relief, and comfort, with motion control and durability. The company also offers the baselogic® platform, a lightweight, easy-to-assemble design that replaces both a traditional bed frame and box spring.

Materials and Certifications

Beautyrest uses high-quality foams, such as latex, cooling foams, high-density foams, and memory foams, to achieve advanced support and pressure relief in the shoulders and hips. According to the company, its foams are CertiPUR-US® certified, made without harmful chemicals, and meet low-VOC standards for indoor air quality. The brand states that it designs its products free of harmful substances.

Purchase, Delivery, and Warranty

Products can be purchased online or in partner stores. The company offers a 100-night trial, free shipping and returns, free white glove delivery (which includes in-home setup and removal of the old mattress), a 10-year warranty, and monthly financing. Delivery can be scheduled at the customer's convenience. Beautyrest also offers a fast shipping service called Quick Ship to receive the mattress sooner.

Customer Service

The website includes a store locator to find authorized retailers. The company has a team of sleep experts who help simplify the purchase of a mattress online. Regarding after-sales service, testimonials collected on the page highlight communication and warranty fulfillment; one customer, Barbara E., mentions that the company honored her warranty as proof of honesty, and another comment praises the ease of the process and the help received.
