The Hudson Austin Ranch

The Hudson Austin Ranch: Luxury Lakeside Apartments in The Colony

The Hudson is a rental residential community located in Austin Ranch, in The Colony (Texas), and is part of The Billingsley Collection. Its offering combines luxury apartments and rental townhomes with upscale interior finishes, resort-style amenities, and water views. The community presents itself as a residential destination next to Painted Lake and the protected natural areas that surround it.

Architecture Inspired by Three Traditions

The design of the community draws on Mediterranean architecture, the ambiance of Indonesia, and the rustic elegance of the Texas Hill Country. This blend results in a residential environment with its own identity, designed to integrate with the lakeside landscape and the trails that run through the area.

Residences and Floorplans

The Hudson offers a selection of luxury apartments and rental townhomes. The website allows you to view the floorplans of the different available layouts. The community is located in a walkable neighborhood, with lake views and trails that connect to The Shacks dog park and the surrounding natural environment.

Amenities and Facilities

The amenities follow a resort-inspired approach and include ozone-filtered pools, a one-story cascading waterfall, a lakeside fire pit, the Bungalow clubroom and lounge, and Indonesian-style cabanas. The amenity offering is completed by access to the trails and protected natural areas surrounding Painted Lake.

Self-Guided Tours and Customer Service

The community offers self-guided tours through the Tour24 app, which provides temporary access to the property and guides visitors around the community without the need for a leasing agent. The office is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; it is closed on Sundays and Mondays, although self-guided tours are available on those days. The website includes an FAQ page about leasing and lakeside living.

Surroundings: The Shacks at Austin Ranch

A few minutes from The Hudson is The Shacks at Austin Ranch, a destination with six restaurants sharing an open-air patio overlooking a one-acre off-leash dog park. The community also presents itself as part of The Billingsley Collection tradition.
