About Tampa Bay United Soccer Club
Tampa Bay United is organized as one club with distinct entry points rather than one uniform team track. Its program map starts with early-age development and recreational soccer, then moves through Junior Academy and competitive age groups into national platforms such as ECNL and MLS NEXT. That range matters to families deciding whether a child needs a first structured season, a regular club team or a higher-commitment competitive environment. The club describes its pathway as running from early development through U19 and posts college commitments as part of its broader player-development picture.
The club’s Tampa campuses sit on opposite sides of the city. Ed Radice Sports Complex, at 14720 Ed Radice Drive, is the North base and offers the broadest slate listed by TBU: recreational, select and competitive programs, ECNL and ECNL-RL, MLS NEXT, NAL and camps. The county identifies the complex as a 138-acre sports site with soccer fields, restrooms, concessions and 850 parking spaces. The South recreational academy is at Monroe Middle School, 4716 S Manhattan Avenue, and is listed for U6–U10 recreation and camps. TBU’s Adum K-8 page says its program lineup is still coming, so it is not presented here as an active training site.
The choice between North and South is therefore more than a shorter drive: the published levels differ. North serves families weighing a wider competition ladder, while Monroe offers a defined recreational entry point for younger players. TBU does not publish one current price covering all of those pathways on its public campus listing; ask for the team-specific tuition, uniform package, tournament costs and required travel before accepting a place. The club’s live program map and registration links are the best starting point for confirming age placement and the current campus calendar.
