For the 2026–27 academic year, the application opened January 1 and closed March 31; the page says the cycle is closed and students are being notified. TCC has not yet posted future dates. The general application may match students with eligible funds, but answers should be accurate and students should monitor their campus email during summer for any required post-award agreement.
Published general eligibility requires at least a 2.0 GPA and full- or part-time enrollment at TCC. Individual scholarships may add criteria, and some include international students; each listing explains the donor’s terms. The committee reviews essays and records, while awarded funds enter the student’s financial-aid package and are applied directly to tuition and fees.
A scholarship may be reduced if combined aid exceeds the allowable cost of attendance. Awards above $750 are split across fall, winter, and spring quarters; awards of $750 or less are applied in one quarter, according to the college. TCC also offers writing and tutoring support for essays. Contact Foundation Scholarships with eligibility or renewal questions before changing enrollment.
Ask the financial-aid office for a written term-by-term estimate separating tuition, fees, housing, books, and other costs. Keep the award letter, records, and any service agreement. If your studies, residence, or course load change, contact the administrator before that decision affects your aid.
