Shadow Hills Pet Clinic

Full-Service Veterinary Clinic in Sun Valley

Shadow Hills Pet Clinic is a veterinary clinic located in Sun Valley, California, serving residents of that area and nearby communities. It presents itself as a full-service center, with personalized care for every patient and the health and comfort of the animal as its stated priority.

Veterinary Services

The clinic organizes its offerings into three categories: general services, specialty services, and additional services. Among the services it details are wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, spaying and neutering, surgery, and diagnostics.

In-House Diagnostics and Open Hospital

The center has an in-house lab and diagnostic tools, allowing it to obtain fast, accurate results without relying on third parties. It also operates as an "open hospital": owners can stay with their animals during exams and vaccinations.

Operations and Care Conditions

The clinic sees patients by appointment only, in order to dedicate the necessary time and attention to each pet. It does not provide diagnoses or prescriptions over the phone: any prescription requires a prior physical exam performed by a veterinarian. Regarding annual wellness exams, the center notes that they allow establishing a baseline for the animal's health, detecting early signs of disease, and keeping vaccinations and parasite prevention up to date.

Payments and Reviews

The center accepts cash and major credit and debit cards. Its site collects more than 275 five-star reviews. For new clients, the clinic offered a free first exam for a limited time, subject to conditions set out in its terms of service.
