Trident Technical College — Dorchester Thompson Campus

Dorchester Thompson Campus in Summerville supports students in the western part of the district. The college renamed the location in 2025 to honor Marion Thompson, who served 38 years on the Area Commission. The campus directory lists a local number, and the college’s Student Success Center network and student-life information identify reception and student support at Dorchester.

The site hosts instruction and services connected to the college’s academic and continuing-education activity. The course search remains the reliable way to confirm a program’s campus, since locations vary by course and semester. A Berkeley County enrollment specialist and Student Success staff were moved here during the Berkeley renovation.

CARTA’s Dorchester Road and Summerville routes connect this corridor with the regional network. Check live service and the campus map before travelling, and confirm whether your appointment is at Dorchester Thompson or another TTC office.
