Edgewood Tahoe Resort is a luxury resort located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada. It presents itself as Tahoe's only lakefront golf resort and as the home of the American Century Celebrity Championship. Its offering combines accommodations, dining, spa, golf, and seasonal activities, backed by a Forbes 4-star rating awarded to both the Lodge and the spa.

Accommodations: Lodge and Villa Suites

The resort features the Lodge, a 154-room building opened in 2017 and inspired by the great lodges of the national parks and the American West. Room categories include the Emerald Suite, Edgewood Suite, Tahoe Premier, Tahoe Room, and Junior King Suite. Since 2021, the Villa Suites have been added—lake-view villas available in 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-bedroom configurations, conceived as an evolution of the resort's luxury concept.

Dining: three restaurants by the lake

The resort brings together three acclaimed restaurants on the shore of Lake Tahoe. The Edge offers fine dining and tasting menus; The Bistro serves seasonal lakeside cuisine; and Brooks' Bar & Deck, recognized by Golf Digest as the best golf pub, serves as a gathering spot for rounds, game days, and casual events. The culinary offering is rounded out by the Tea With An Edge afternoon tea experience and private dinners.

Golf and competitions

The golf course, designed by Tom Fazio and created in 1968, is the historic centerpiece of the property. Over the decades it has hosted national tournaments and is the annual home of the American Century Championship. The site indicated that the golf season ended on October 17.

Spa, pool, and wellness

The 8,500-square-foot, award-winning spa offers massages, facials, couples retreats, and an Oxygen Bar designed for Lake Tahoe's altitude. It is open to both Lodge guests and day visitors. The resort also has a pool.

Seasonal experiences and events

The programming includes summer experiences with MasterCraft, fall and winter activities with skiing, yoga classes, nature walks, and festive activities. In the events arena, the resort manages weddings, meetings, and groups, and announces an expansion of its event spaces between September 2025 and January 2027, with a 5,600-square-foot ballroom, a lakefront private dining room, and a heated outdoor deck. During construction, there may be changes to valet parking at the adjacent Clubhouse building.

History and surroundings

The property's history dates back 150 years, when the Park family established itself as ranchers on the shore of Lake Tahoe. The resort is located on the south shore of the lake, North America's largest alpine lake, surrounded by the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Reno/Tahoe International Airport is approximately a one-hour-and-fifteen-minute drive away.
