St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market

October–May Saturday market at Al Lang Stadium; a smaller summer edition moves to Williams Park.

About St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market

Founded in November 2002, the Saturday Morning Market operates in season at the Al Lang Stadium parking lot near First Street and First Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. The regular season runs October–May, Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a smaller summer market moves to shaded Williams Park from June through August, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Organizers describe local organic, naturally grown and regenerative produce, humanely raised meat, eggs and honey, plus ready-to-eat foods from many culinary traditions, artisan foods and craft makers. Live music is scheduled on winter Saturdays.

The market supports SNAP and Feeding Florida’s Fresh Access Bucks, which the organizer says matches SNAP spending for locally grown produce; Florida’s agriculture department also lists EBT and WIC/FMNP coupons. It is a walkable downtown outing, but its regular site is an active stadium parking area, so the space itself should not be treated as guaranteed visitor parking. Use the market’s current calendar for seasonal venue changes and PSTA’s SunRunner/route map for a transit plan.
