Woodie's Wash Shack - 66th Street

Woodie’s Wash Shack – 66th Street is at 5601 66th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. The official location page identifies it as the company’s first branch, acquired in 2019 and reopened after a renovation that year. The location phone is (727) 291-9446. Woodie’s publishes hours of 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Sunday. Its format is an express tunnel, followed by a free finishing area with vacuums, microfiber towels, mat cleaners, compressed air, glass and all-purpose cleaner, and air fresheners.

The wash menu uses four package names—The Drop In, The Hang Ten, The Wipeout and The Pipeline—and the company runs an Endless Wash Club:

• Members may wash daily, and the club works at Woodie’s locations across the Tampa Bay area.
• The mobile app manages the membership, tracks visits and helps find nearby locations.
• Vacuum and finishing amenities are included with a wash purchase or membership redemption.
• The posted tunnel limits are 7 feet 2 inches high and 84 inches wide; vehicle weight, modifications and add-ons can also affect entry.

The company’s public page does not present a single price for every package at every branch; check the current on-site menu and membership offer before paying.

The location’s customer comments repeatedly mention friendly staff, a satisfying wash and help with small finishing details such as wiping down the exterior or offering an air freshener. That is useful context for drivers who want more than a conveyor pass but do not need a booked detail service. The free station lets you vacuum and clean glass and mats yourself; the membership may suit frequent visitors who also use other Woodie’s locations. For a first visit, verify any roof rack or aftermarket accessory against the tunnel limits and confirm whether the plan or a one-time wash is the better fit.
