About St. Louis Community College — Harrison Education Center
William J. Harrison Education Center is located at 3140 Cass Avenue in the historic JeffVanderLou neighborhood. Named for educator, historian and civil-rights activist Dr. William J. Harrison, the center brings STLCC classes and support into a central-city community.
The 31,000-square-foot building contains classrooms, an art studio, community room, bookstore and outreach center. It offers credit and noncredit courses as well as contractual workforce training, and academic advising is available on site.
The campus map marks accessible parking, an EV charging space, a MetroBus stop, ramps, elevator, lactation room and other visitor features. Published weekday hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; verify before traveling because schedules can change.
The center works well for students seeking a nearby class or community-based support, but its course list is not the full STLCC catalog. Check the term schedule and ask Enrollment Services which courses and advising appointments are handled at Harrison.
