About Spokane Community College — Main Campus
SCC’s main campus occupies a broad site beside the Spokane River, east of downtown. The official map labels buildings by number and assigns dedicated spaces to health science, automotive, heavy equipment and fire science, technical education, science, adult education and student services. Check the map before a lab, advising visit or tour because services are spread across the grounds.
The college is known for applied programs including automotive technology, aviation maintenance, nursing and allied health, culinary arts, welding, HVAC, fire science, agriculture and software. Credentials range from certificates to associate degrees. Each program page sets out its current credits and sequence; some health and technical pathways add prerequisites or selective admission beyond SCC’s general entry process.
Student life and support include the Lair Student Center, Learning Resources Center, Student Services Building, Walter S. Johnson Sports Center and Jenkins Wellness Center. Spokane Transit route 29 serves the campus. Parking is paid during weekday enforcement hours; visitors may use meters, day permits or marked short-term spaces.
Technical and career programs, health sciences, automotive, aviation, skilled trades and student services.
