Disney+ is a streaming platform that offers movies, series, documentaries, and live sports content. Its catalog includes titles from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, and it is marketed in the United States with various plans that combine the service with Hulu and ESPN.

Plans and pricing for the catalog

The platform structures its offering into several monthly plans. The Disney+, Hulu plan is priced at $11.99 per month for six months, with a 50% savings compared to the regular monthly price; after that period, it renews at $12.99 per month. The Disney+, Hulu Premium plan costs $17.99 per month for six months, with a 52% savings, and then renews at $19.99 per month. Both allow cancellation at any time.

There are also combinations with HBO Max: the Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max (with ads) plan costs $21.99 per month and the no-ads plan costs $34.99 per month, with savings of 42% and 41% respectively. The Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited option is offered at $35.99 per month (with ads plan) and $44.99 per month (Premium), with a 35% savings in both cases. Additionally, the package that adds NFL+ Premium has a total price of $45.99 per month for the with-ads version and $54.99 per month for the Premium version.

As a complement, the ESPN Unlimited add-on can be added to a plan for $31.99 per month, with access to all ESPN networks and services, including ESPN+ and NFL Network.

Sports and live content

Plans with ESPN Unlimited provide access to all ESPN networks: ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPNEWS, and ESPN Deportes, plus ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, SEC Network+, ACC Network Extra, and NFL Network. This includes broadcasts of sports such as the NFL, college football, NBA, WWE, NASCAR, and SportsCenter.

During the college football season, Disney+ airs select ESPN College Football games and the ESPN College GameDay program every Saturday, at no additional cost for Disney+ subscribers. Subscribers to certain plans can also watch Hulu and ESPN content directly in the Disney+ app.

Platform features

Disney+ allows simultaneous playback on multiple devices within the same household. With compatible devices, it offers titles in 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos sound. The platform includes parental controls that allow managing access to unrated titles, such as live sports or news, through age rating filters, PIN protection, and Junior Mode. These options are configured per profile.

Disney+ Perks program
