About AMC+
AMC+, premium streaming with roots in AMC
AMC+ is a paid streaming service that operates as a premium bundle within the AMC ecosystem. Its offering combines original content, award-winning series, and exclusive movies, and includes full access to the platforms Shudder, Sundance Now, and IFC Films Unlimited. The parent company listed on the site is AMC Global Media Inc.
Content and included brands
The catalog is organized around recognizable franchises and labels. Featured sections include The Walking Dead Universe, Anne Rice's literary universe (Immortal Universe), The AMC Collection, exclusive movies, thrillers, drama, true crime, and a selection of essential horror. The platform also integrates six live TV channels.
The offering includes full access to Shudder, specializing in horror; Sundance Now, focused on dramas and mysteries; and IFC Films Unlimited, featuring catalog movies. According to the service description, new shows and movies are added every week.
Plans and pricing
The site presents three subscription options. The Annual Premium plan allows ad-free viewing and downloading content, with a promotional price of $39.99 per year (equivalent to $3.33 per month) compared to the standard rate of $109.99. The Monthly Premium plan costs $10.99 per month and also removes ads and allows downloads. The Monthly with Ads plan is priced at $7.99 per month. All include a seven-day free trial.
The annual plan promotion is limited to new subscriptions or upgrades to Annual Premium, applies only during the first year, and is available until October 12, 2026, for subscriptions made at www.amcplus.com in the United States. The standard price automatically applies on the second billing cycle, and the subscription renews unless canceled.
Devices and access methods
AMC+ can be watched on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, LG TV, Roku, Samsung TV, Vizio, and Xfinity televisions; on computers with Mac OS, Chrome OS, and Windows PC; and on mobile devices and tablets such as Amazon Fire Tablet, Android phones and tablets, iPhone, and iPad. The mobile app allows casting to TV via Chromecast and AirPlay, as well as downloading content for offline viewing, with the caveat that some titles may not be available for download.
The access method depends on the subscription channel. Those who subscribe directly with AMC use www.amcplus.com or the AMC+ app. Those who subscribe through a TV provider must search for AMC+ in the On Demand menu or on the provider's website or app, and those subscriptions do not work with AMC's website or app. The same applies to subscriptions made through Apple TV Channels, Amazon Prime Video Channels, or The Roku Channel, which are managed within those platforms.
Offer terms
The service warns that live TV and certain on-demand content may include ads, promotions, or sponsorships, even on ad-free plans. The annual promotion cannot be combined with other offers or the free trial, and does not allow refunds or extensions of the discount if the subscription is canceled before the end of the first year, unless required by law.
