About SYSA TOPSoccer Wildcats — Magnuson Park

TOPSoccer is SYSA’s recreational program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional or physical disabilities. The Wildcats group adapts play to each person’s ability rather than a strict age ranking. Volunteer “buddies,” often high-school students, offer on-field support, while families and coaches share the activity. This is adaptive community soccer, not a tryout or an academy placement route.

SYSA says the Wildcats usually meet for eight to ten weeks in both spring and fall. The published Fall 2026 cycle met Sundays, September 13 through October 25: ages 4–10 played 12:30–1:30 p.m., and the group for ages 10 and older played 1:30–2:30 p.m. The fee was $30 per player; coaches, buddies and siblings were not charged. The fall season has ended, so contact the program for the next dates and discuss support needs before registering.

Sessions are held at Arena Sports Magnuson, 7751 63rd Avenue NE, inside Magnuson Park. The indoor sports setting gives the program a consistent location through changing weather. The official page links registration and a buddy handbook and says players and buddies may join during an active season. Use this address for the playing site; SYSA’s administrative office is elsewhere.

In brief

For players age 4+ with intellectual, emotional or physical disabilities; volunteers called buddies assist on the field. Fall 2026 fee was $30 per player; coaches, buddies and siblings are free.
