About Consulate of Mexico in Seattle

The office is at 807 East Roy Street, Seattle, WA 98102. The SRE directory does not assign all of Washington, Idaho and Alaska without qualification: it specifies 36 Washington counties, seven in Idaho and 27 in Alaska. Because the federal list contains typographical errors in some Alaska names, this profile avoids reproducing them as a flawless boundary. If your home is far from Seattle, confirm your exact county with the consulate before booking or planning a trip.

The office organises its services around identity documents—passport, consular ID, INE voter credential, OP-7 and others—Civil Registry, powers of attorney and wills, certificates, services for foreign nationals, community programs and protection. Its protection section lists guidance on labour and immigration issues, detention, violence, trafficking, minors in custody and repatriation. This is a consular information and assistance channel, not private legal counsel or a guarantee that every case can be resolved from Seattle.

The official site points to MiConsulado, phone and WhatsApp for passports, consular IDs and INE applications. Appointment slots are often announced on Thursdays around 10 a.m., but the portal says this may vary because availability is managed from Mexico City. Do not turn that notice into a fixed rule: check the booking system and institutional updates before buying tickets or driving from Alaska or Idaho. For an appointment, the office asks for original documents and arrival no more than 20 minutes early.

Published public hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m., by appointment; office operations continue until 5:30 p.m. Maps records an 8 a.m. opening, but the local listing clarifies that in-person service is only for people with appointments. Saturday sessions and mobile consulates extend access beyond Seattle. The 2026 calendar we checked still marked future mobile dates as pending confirmation, so do not assume service will be available in a particular city or on a particular day.

Google Maps includes comments describing attentive help and quick appointments, alongside less favourable individual accounts. This range cannot predict how a particular visit will go. Practical preparation means checking jurisdiction, opening the exact procedure requirements, verifying the date in MiConsulado and confirming whether a mobile visit offers that service. For urgent protection assistance, use the published emergency channel; it is not a routine passport-enquiry line.
