Shimmering Waters Pool Service Inc.

Pool Construction, Remodeling, and Maintenance in Texas

Shimmering Waters Pool Service Inc. is a company dedicated to the pool industry operating from two locations in Texas: Schulenburg and Port Aransas. Its activities include new pool construction, remodeling, leak repair and detection, and weekly maintenance. The company states it has over 30 years of experience and coverage extending from Fayette County to Aransas County.

Pool Services

The company's service catalog is organized into four main areas:

• New pool construction.
• Pool remodeling.
• Repair and leak detection.
• Weekly maintenance service.

The company presents itself as a full-service provider managing the entire process, from planning and permitting to renovation and final finishes. Its communication highlights a detail-oriented approach covering both structural integrity and finishes, rejecting standardized solutions in favor of personalized plans tailored to each property.

Project Financing

For construction or remodeling projects, the company has established a partnership with Lyon Financial. According to published information, this financing requires no down payment and no home equity or collateral, offers terms up to 30 years, fast approvals, and loans designed specifically for pool projects.

Delivery and Startup Process

The company indicates that pool construction typically takes 30 to 60 days, depending on weather conditions, and in some cases has been completed in as little as 17 business days. Once the pool is finished and filled, its technicians handle the startup and offer one month of free service. After that period, the client can choose to hire weekly maintenance or take care of it themselves. The company also schedules a training session, called Pool School, where a technician teaches the client how to operate the equipment and test the chemicals.

Charitable Initiative

The company maintains a commitment to Dell Children's Hospital in Austin. For every new pool built, it makes a donation to this hospital, in memory of Dayton Helms, son of owners Chad and Melissa Helms, who passed away in 2012 after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
