Forsyth Farmers’ Market

A year-round Saturday market at the south end of Forsyth Park, bringing regional food producers into Savannah’s downtown grid.

About Forsyth Farmers’ Market

Forsyth Farmers’ Market is held at the south end of Forsyth Park, where Bull Street meets Park Avenue in Savannah, GA 31401. The nonprofit’s current page calls it a food-only, producer-only market and says vendors come from within 200 miles of Savannah. On a typical Saturday, more than 60 producers offer seasonal produce, pastured meat, honey, artisan dairy and cheeses, breads, baked goods and prepared foods.

The posted schedule is Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., January through December, rain or shine except in extreme weather. All vendors accept cash; some accept cards. At the central market table, shoppers can exchange debit, credit or SNAP/EBT for non-refundable tokens that do not expire, and the market says it doubles SNAP/EBT dollars. Check the current calendar and vendor list before traveling, especially when weather or a holiday may change the usual Saturday.
