Notary Pin
Apostille coordination for U.S. documents and appointments with commissioned mobile notaries in all 50 states.
About Notary Pin
Notary Pin coordinates apostilles for U.S. documents and appointments with mobile notaries. The company began in San Diego in 2022, founded by two mobile notaries, and says it was created to provide one point of contact for processes that often require first identifying which authority must handle a document. It serves all 50 states and handles documents intended for use abroad, including certificates, powers of attorney, corporate records, and diplomas.
An apostille certifies the authenticity of a signature or seal on a public document for presentation in another country that participates in the Hague Apostille Convention. Documents do not all follow the same route: state or federal offices may be involved, and the destination may require additional consular legalization. Notary Pin says it reviews the document type, issuing authority, and destination country to guide the process and coordinate delivery. Timing and cost depend on the document, jurisdiction, and urgency; the quote is confirmed before processing begins.
For in-person notarizations, the company coordinates independent notaries with current commissions who may meet a customer at home, work, a hospital, or another agreed location, subject to local availability. Scheduling is handled on Pacific Time: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.–10 p.m.; Saturday, 6 a.m.–8 p.m.; and Sunday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Notary Pin is headquartered in San Diego. Before booking, explain the document’s destination and confirm whether the receiving authority requires translation, certification, or additional steps.
