The 2027–28 cycle opened October 1, 2026, and closes February 19, 2027. The system serves incoming, current, and transfer students, but not students who have already transferred and are currently enrolled at a four-year university.
Applicants may be enrolled or plan to enroll at one of the three colleges in 2027–28, or be a current district student planning to transfer to a four-year institution in fall 2027 or spring 2028. Awards serve different profiles based on academic performance, financial need, interests, clubs, athletics, impact, or service. The portfolio has no single GPA rule; review each listing.
At Skyline, the process starts with an account in the scholarship platform, completion of the general application, and requesting and uploading an unofficial transcript. Students then submit the form and review recommended awards that require separate steps; submitting only the general application does not apply for every fund. The district offers in-person and virtual workshops for FAFSA, CADAA, and scholarship help.
Students who received a transfer award for 2026–27 must submit proof of enrollment at the destination school, including a schedule summary and total units, under Skyline’s instructions. For application help, the financial-aid office asks students to include their college and G number. Before accepting other aid, ask how it combines with campus awards, FAFSA, or California Dream Act and what the college must send.
