About Cosumnes River College — Main Campus
Cosumnes River College serves south Sacramento from its broad Center Parkway campus. It opened in 1970 as part of Los Rios’ regional expansion. Its catalog includes university-transfer study, general education and a wide range of career programs in health, animal care, construction, business, arts and science.
Distinctive programs include Veterinary Technology, Culinary Arts Management, Welding, Pharmacy Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. The veterinary-technician degree follows a selective five-semester sequence, plus prerequisites that can extend the total time; the program is not a public veterinary clinic. The campus has athletic facilities and hands-on learning spaces. Los Rios parking permits apply here as well.
The catalog sets requirements for each credential, and competitive programs may use cohorts and course sequences that do not repeat every term. CRC publishes a campus map for academic buildings, library, athletics, stops and parking permits; the district daily pass is $2. Check a program map before choosing stand-alone courses.
