About Central New Mexico Community College — RioTECH
RioTECH is at 7001 Zenith Court NE in Rio Rancho and operates through a partnership between CNM and Rio Rancho Public Schools. Its learners include high-school students in grades 10–12 and adults. It is therefore not a general admissions site for every CNM program: access depends on the program, age, background application and relevant school partnership.
The college lists automotive and electric-vehicle technology, network administration, digital media, plumbing and gas fitting, residential carpentry, HVAC, electrical wiring, solar energy and welding. Several lead to certificates of completion, while Digital Media is an associate degree. The site emphasizes hands-on learning and the opportunity for high-school students to earn college credit and credentials while continuing their school pathway.
CNM says accepted RioTECH students can request a parking pass. The college advises applicants to complete the background form and confirm acceptance before planning a trip. Rio Rancho lies north of Albuquerque, so compare the class location with CNM’s Rio Rancho Campus: they are two separate addresses in the same city.
A Rio Rancho career-training hub built with local public schools for high-school students and adult learners.
