Richmond Promise College Access — orientación individual para solicitar ayuda universitaria
Virtual guidance for high-school students with FAFSA, college, and scholarship questions, and for current scholars seeking college, progress, or career-transition advice. An appointment provides support; it does not replace an application or automatically award funding.
About Richmond Promise College Access — orientación individual para solicitar ayuda universitaria
College Access is the Richmond Promise team that helps high-school students and families who are unsure how to begin college applications, FAFSA, or scholarship searches. The organisation offers online-booked one-to-one virtual appointments. It is not an office that makes federal or state aid decisions: staff can help explain steps, but a college or agency decides whether a family qualifies.
The appointment page distinguishes three teams: College Access for prospective students and financial-aid questions; Scholar Success for students already in college; and Career Services for career preparation. Before booking, write down the question and, if you are asking about Richmond Promise, have your graduation year, school, address, and FAFSA/CADAA status available. Do not share an FSA ID password during an appointment or send sensitive files through social media.
Students can ask which application applies, how to prepare for FAFSA or California Dream Act, and which scholarship resources to explore. Guidance does not replace admission forms, proof-of-address checks, college documents, or annual renewal. For award amounts, cohort deadlines, and eligibility, consult the [Richmond Promise scholarship](data-profile="richmond-promise") and its official page: the 2026 cycle is closed, and 2027 information is expected in December 2026.
Who it serves and what it can cover: Virtual guidance for high-school students with FAFSA, college, and scholarship questions, and for current scholars seeking college, progress, or career-transition advice. An appointment provides support; it does not replace an application or automatically award funding.
How to apply or get help: Book online through the official office-hours page. Scholarship contact: scholarships@richmondpromise.org; official Richmond Promise contact form. For case-specific questions, contact the program or financial-aid office named on its official page.
