About Minneapolis United — MU Juniors

MU Juniors is Minneapolis United’s introductory soccer program for children in Pre-K and kindergarten. Its Play-Practice-Play format begins with a game, moves into a short skill activity and returns to play. The club says it emphasizes frequent ball touches, sportsmanship, persistence and social confidence alongside basic movement and soccer skills. That structure makes it a first-step class, not a competitive tryout.

The winter calendar is specific: Session I meets Sundays from November 15 through December 20, 2026, 12:30–1:30 p.m., for $120. Session II runs January 3–31, 2027, at the same time and costs $100; Session III runs February 21–March 28 for $120. Each session is limited to 60 children. The official page links to registration; check for space before driving to the facility.

Classes are held at the Stardome at Academy of Holy Angels, 6600 Nicollet Avenue in Richfield, south of Minneapolis. This indoor winter venue is the actual class address. It is useful for a child who wants a short, predictable introduction before committing to a longer recreation season. Minneapolis United runs other age-level programs, but this profile covers only the Pre-K and kindergarten group.

In brief
