About Portland Community College — Southeast Campus
Southeast stands at 2305 SE 82nd Avenue near Division Street, in a busy east Portland district served by frequent transit and dedicated bike lanes. PCC’s 18-acre campus is smaller and more neighborhood-oriented than Rock Creek or Sylvania. The college says more than 48 languages are spoken by its campus community and reports about 11,600 annual students. Since expanding into a full-service campus, Southeast has offered students a route to complete associate and university-transfer study without having to move to another PCC campus for every part of a degree.
The program mix reflects that local role. PCC lists English for Speakers of Other Languages, Native American Studies and Computer-Aided Design and Drafting among Southeast’s distinctive offerings. The CADD certificate is published as a one-year, 45-credit full-time plan, while the associate and transfer options take longer and depend on a student’s placement, pace and course sequence. The Jade District Learning Center adds a STEAM and community-learning space; the campus also hosts a Small Business Development Center and supports local entrepreneurship. The current schedule is the best way to find out which classes meet here in a particular term.
The Student Commons brings many student resources under one roof. PCC also identifies a fitness facility, learning garden, library, resource centers and a welcome desk for admissions and registration help. Cultural programming and community events are part of the campus’s connection with the surrounding neighborhoods. For a student who needs a first conversation about applying, the Southeast Admissions Welcome Center is in Student Commons, room 111; it can help with orientation, placement, MyPCC and the next step toward course registration.
Southeast’s location makes public transportation and cycling practical options. PCC describes it as bike-friendly, provides bike-lane information and runs a free shuttle between campuses. On-site parking is available under the college’s permit system; a permit does not reserve a space. Check the official map for parking lots, accessible features, shuttle stops and the exact building. The campus address is also used for several offices and learning spaces, so check the class schedule or appointment notice before assuming a course or service is in a particular room.
A neighborhood-connected east Portland campus where students can complete transfer and associate study, learn English, train in CAD, and use the Jade District learning and small-business resources.
