Operations and Reservations

The resort operates year-round. Reservations can be made online or by phone, and for monthly or long-term stays you are asked to call directly. Check-in is at 3 PM for both RV and tent sites and for cabins and cottages; check-out is at 1 PM for sites and at 11 AM for cabins and cottages. Late check-outs are not allowed, and early check-in depends on site availability and the office being open.

The reservation includes up to four people (two adults and two children), with additional charges for more guests, and only one camping unit per site is allowed. Visitors must register and pay at the office; their check-out time is 11 PM. No day passes are offered to non-registered guests. The assignment of a specific site or cabin is not guaranteed unless a Site Lock fee is paid, although the type of lodging booked is guaranteed. There is a two-night minimum on weekends, and cottages with bathrooms also require a two-night minimum.

Cancellation Policy

For RV sites, cancellations made 15 days or more in advance receive a full refund less a $25 service charge; between 8 and 14 days, the refund is full less a 50% penalty; and within 7 days prior to arrival, the entire reservation is forfeited. For cottages and lodging units, a full refund less $25 applies with 22 days or more notice; between 15 and 21 days, the total is refunded less 50%; and within 14 days prior, the full reservation is forfeited. For long-term stays (30 days or more), cancellations up to 45 days before arrival receive a refund of the deposit less $25.

Check-in and After-Hours Arrival

Upon arrival, guests should go to the right side of the reception building and enter through the side door marked "Welcome Happy Campers!". On Friday nights between May and October, from 2 to 7 PM, check-in is done directly at the entrance to the grounds. For after-hours arrivals, there is a procedure with a map available under a shed at the back of the building, which includes the door code and directions to reach the site. The manager's cell phone number is posted on the front door, and security is available until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
