R House

Comprehensive Home Services in Pensacola and Northwest Florida

R House is a family-owned group of companies based in Pensacola, Florida, that brings together termite and pest control, lawn care, fence and railing installation, exterior projects, and residential construction. The company presents itself as a provider of integrated services for homeowners, combining treatments and construction work with personalized attention and local expertise.

The group is led by Chris Rawson, born and raised in Northwest Florida in a small-business family. Before founding R House, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Superior Termite & Pest Management, the family business, where he worked with realtors, contractors, and homeowners. He opened his own business in 2018 with the vision of growing into a family of complementary companies.

Two Independent Companies Under One Leadership

The group's structure distinguishes two companies that operate independently but share leadership and service standards:

• R House Home Services LLC, doing business as R House Termite, Pest & Lawn, provides professional termite, pest, rodent, and lawn care services to homeowners in Pensacola and the surrounding areas.
• R House Construction LLC (CRC1335910) focuses on residential construction and improvements: custom homes, small repairs, additions, fencing, pergolas, porches, decks, and other exterior projects.

Both companies share the same leadership, values, and commitment to integrating their services when the client needs it.

Pest and Termite Control

The pest control catalog includes quarterly residential treatments, monthly commercial control, one-time service, mosquito control, fire ant control, and German cockroach control. In the termite area, pre-construction and post-construction treatments, bait stations, and liquid treatment are offered, along with wood-destroying organism (WDO) inspections.

Lawn Care

Lawn services cover fertilization, weed control, lawn insect control, fire ant control, aeration, compost and sand top dressing, overseeding, sod installation, sprinkler system repair, and lawn fungus treatments. The company notes that fertilization products leave no chemical residue or granules once absorbed by the soil, and recommends keeping pets and children off the lawn for the first few days after treatment.

Fencing, Railing, and Exterior Structures

R House Construction builds and installs wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chainlink fencing, as well as custom designs. It also provides custom railing in aluminum, vinyl, and wood, and installs gates, decks, pergolas, and porches. The company notes that the founder began building fences as a child and that its team of craftsmen is trained to adapt the design to the aesthetic style of the client and their property.

Residential Construction and Repairs

The construction division handles remodeling and home repair, WDO termite repairs, custom home building, pole barns, and additions. Regarding timelines, the company explains that a custom home project typically takes between a year and a half and two years in total, with a design and pre-construction phase of six to twelve months and a construction phase of three to six months, timelines that vary depending on complexity and location.

Founder's Background and Credentials

Chris Rawson has more than twenty years of experience in the pest and termite industry, as well as several years of government project management. His licenses and certifications include Florida Department of Agriculture Certified Operator in Termite and Wood-Destroying Organisms (FDACS #JF253541), Certified Operator in Pest and Rodent Control (FDACS #JF253541), Licensed Home Inspector (DBPR #HI18471), and Florida Certified Residential Contractor (DBPR #CRC1335910).

The company states that it has spent the last eight years building its reputation as one of the leading pest control, handyman, and fence companies in the panhandle, and notes that in 2026 it begins a new chapter by separating the companies and expanding its offerings.
