City of Pembroke Pines Youth Soccer Program

The City of Pembroke Pines runs youth recreational soccer for boys and girls ages three to eighteen at West Pines Soccer Park. Its page describes spring and fall leagues, spring-break and summer camps, and after-school academy or goalkeeper classes when available. The park address is 350 SW 196th Avenue; the facility listing names six soccer fields, with lighting for evening recreation. Registration and team formation are handled through the City’s recreation system, not a private club.

The City says spring runs January through May and registration normally opens September 1. It lists Fall 2026 for ages three to eighteen at $150 for residents and $215 for nonresidents, but marks that registration closed. The page checked for this guide did not show a Spring 2027 fee, so the fall amount should not be used as a current quote. The online catalog is the place to check availability. Specific team practice times are confirmed after assignment; do not assume a league-wide start time from the park’s dawn-to-dusk hours.

Families can compare the City route with the nonprofit Pines Optimist Piranhas, whose winter recreational season has a published one-time fee and volunteer coaches, and with West Pines United, whose academy is a bridge toward competitive club soccer. The municipal league is the broad recreation option; Optimist adds a competitive travel program; West Pines is more selective. Compare age cutoffs, dates, practice frequency, travel, uniform costs and refund rules.

West Pines Soccer Park is a large public complex; the City lists soccer, basketball, playground and nature-preserve features. They are park amenities, not automatically included benefits of a soccer registration. The image on this profile shows the municipal venue rather than a team. Check the recreation catalog to see whether enrollment is open, and confirm the exact entrance and field after team formation.

The regional professional reference includes Inter Miami CF in Major League Soccer and Fort Lauderdale United’s women in the Division I Gainbridge Super League, with home matches in nearby Davie. Fort Lauderdale United’s men are scheduled to enter USL League One in 2027, a third-division competition. The City does not advertise a direct academy affiliation with these clubs. Use the current recreation catalog to verify Spring 2027 age groups, fees and enrollment before planning the season.
