Valencia College — West Campus

West Campus occupies 180 acres at 1800 S Kirkman Road in west Orange County and is Valencia’s largest traditional campus. Valencia highlights health sciences and technical fields here, including nursing, radiography, emergency medical services, engineering, architecture and mathematics. Its 15 buildings include modern learning and laboratory spaces, and the college notes UCF degree programs are available on the campus. Students can also complete general education and other Valencia coursework, so the practical question is which required classes and clinical or lab sessions are assigned to West for the coming term.

Student services, advising and testing are available through the campus system, and Valencia’s official map identifies the buildings and parking areas. The college says accepted students can obtain a free parking decal at campuses outside Downtown; space is not guaranteed, so plan extra time. LYNX has stops near Valencia campuses across Orange and Osceola counties. The site’s West map is more useful than a general campus address when a schedule names a building, health lab or advising office. Use the route button on this page, then compare it with the college map before a first visit.

For a student comparing a two-year transfer route with job-specific training, West offers a broad starting point: the A.A. is designed for transfer, while selective health programs and A.S. credentials have their own prerequisites, applications and clinical requirements. The college’s DirectConnect to UCF pathway lets eligible Valencia A.A. and selected A.S. graduates seek guaranteed admission to UCF subject to university policy; students can also take UCF courses on West. Meet with an advisor early to match general education, math placement and program prerequisites rather than choosing courses by title alone.

Valencia asks first-time applicants to submit an admission application, pay the current $35 application fee and send official transcripts. Students seeking aid must be in an eligible degree or certificate program, submit FAFSA using code 006750 and meet satisfactory-progress rules. Non-native English speakers may take placement tests that route them into EAP courses; adult ESOL is a separate nondegree option. West is one of the listed EAP assessment, learning-support and advising locations, so a student can ask about language placement and academic planning at the same campus.
