Underdog Sports: online sports betting and fantasy

Underdog Sports is a US-based sports betting and fantasy gaming platform that operates through its website and mobile app for iOS and Android. The company presents itself as an option for those who want to actively participate in sports, not just watch them, and offers a variety of games and promotions.

Available games and products

The platform makes several game formats available to users:

• Classic Pick'em: selecting teams or players to correctly predict outcomes.
• Pick'em Champions: a variant of the picks game.
• Draft Games: sports draft games.
• Streaks: correct-pick streak challenges.
• Team Picks: selecting teams.
• Player Picks: selecting individual players.
• Combining picks: the ability to combine team and player selections in a single entry.

In addition, the company offers event contracts through Underdog Exchange (UDX), a CFTC-regulated platform that operates through a transparent, rules-based marketplace. The company warns that trading involves risk, including total loss on positions, and that trading decisions are the user's sole responsibility.

Promotions and bonuses

Underdog Sports promotes several offers for new users. One of them consists of a starting virtual balance of $1,000,000: the user must make 20 picks and keep whatever they don't lose. Another promotion states that new customers can play $5 and receive $50 instantly. A promo code (UDPROMO) is also mentioned for getting a free account. The company clarifies that these promotions are subject to terms and conditions, and that availability may vary by jurisdiction.

Age requirements and geographic restrictions

Access to the games is limited to people over 18, although some states require a higher minimum age: 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 19 in Colorado for certain games, and 21 in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Virginia. Users must be physically located in a state where Underdog Fantasy operates. The company also states that promotions may be void in Colorado.

Responsible gaming

Underdog Sports includes responsible gaming resources on its website, with helplines such as 1-800-MY-RESET, 1-800-GAMBLER, and the National Council on Problem Gambling website (ncpgambling.org). For the state of New York, the HOPEline helpline 1-877-8-HOPENY is provided, along with the option to text HOPENY to 467369.

Other services and content

The company has an Underdog Productions section, which offers sports-related multimedia content. It also has a mobile app for iOS and Android, and offers 24/7 customer support, as well as quick and secure withdrawals and large cash payouts.

Presence and reach

Underdog Sports presents itself as a platform active nationwide in the United States, with the slogan "Dogs Coast to Coast," indicating that its services are available throughout the country, subject to the corresponding state regulations.
