Sidepot

Sidepot: social online casino with Provably Fair games

Sidepot is a social casino accessible through its website and mobile app. The platform offers casino-style games played with virtual currencies called Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, without users being able to wager real money. The company states that no purchase is necessary to participate and that access is open to those 18 years of age or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

Game model and virtual currencies

The social casino operates on a virtual currency system. Players use Gold Coins to play casino-style games and can obtain Sweeps Coins for free through promotions, daily bonuses, mail requests, or by purchasing Sweeps Coins packages. The company clarifies that Gold Coins cannot be exchanged for real money and that in the United States it is not possible to play for real money at an online social casino.

Provably Fair technology

Sidepot uses casino-style games with a random number generator (RNG) under a Provably Fair system. This mechanism uses cryptographic algorithms to ensure the transparency of each outcome. The process includes generating a hash of the game outcome, which is compared with a seed value generated by the player and shared with the casino before the game begins. Players can verify that the outcome was not manipulated by comparing the hash with the seed value. The company describes this system as a way to ensure that each outcome is truly random.

Games and cross-platform access

The platform offers social casino games, including slots and original games, available on both mobile and desktop versions. No download is required to play, and the games are accessible from any device. The company also has a mobile app with touchscreen controls and push notifications for new games and promotional offers.

Promotions and bonuses

The site shows various promotions, such as the possibility of getting a free Sweeps Coin by adding the site to the device's home screen or by enabling push notifications while logged in to the account. Daily bonuses and Sweeps Coins packages are also offered. These promotions are subject to the platform's terms and conditions.

Social and security aspects

The social component of the casino is reflected in interactive features such as chat, leaderboards, and multiplayer games, which aim to foster community among players. The app incorporates security measures to protect users' personal and financial information.
