Milwaukee Area Technical College — Oak Creek Campus

Oak Creek is south of Milwaukee at 6665 S Howell Avenue, near the I-94 and I-41 corridors and Mitchell International Airport. The site combines classrooms with hands-on facilities: MATC highlights manufacturing labs, automotive shops and training for fire, police and emergency medical services. The grounds also include wooded areas, ponds and an approximately 1.5-mile walking trail.

The campus program list includes aviation maintenance technology, protective services, welding, automotive study and logistics, among other options. MATC’s Aviation Center has a separate address east of this campus; although some aviation courses are associated with Oak Creek in the catalog, confirm the specific building before driving there.

Its location by the highways can be convenient for drivers coming from the southern county; check the college’s permit and designated-area instructions, and confirm the address for each activity so the main campus is not confused with the Aviation Center.
