Straight Line Home Repairs & Cabinets is a licensed and insured general contractor operating in Port Charlotte, North Port, and other Southwest Florida communities. The company presents itself as specializing in kitchen remodeling and custom cabinetry, with Rob and Sue Wittmer personally involved in every project.

Specialization in Kitchens and Cabinetry

The core of the business is kitchen remodeling, which spans from design and planning to installation and finishing details. The company offers its own cabinetry collection with various lines and finishes, including Petit Sand, Petit Blue, Petit Brown, Petit White, Ice White Shaker, Pepper Shaker, Gramercy White, Town Square Grey, Xterra Blue Shaker, Woodland Brown, Lait Grey Shaker, and Signature Pearl. Cabinet design is approached considering layout, drawer configuration, pantry storage, and pull-out and organization systems.

Complementary Remodeling Services

In addition to kitchens, the company handles bathroom renovations, flooring installation, and full home remodeling projects. The site description also includes crown molding, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and sink and countertop installation.

Design and Material Selection

Sue Wittmer guides homeowners through the design and planning process, advising on layout, cabinet styles, colors, countertops, finishes, and storage, at no additional cost according to the published information. For countertop selection, the company has partnered for more than five years with a five-star rated fabricator that offers a VIP showroom and warehouse experience in Naples. There, clients can view full slabs of quartz, granite, quartzite, and marble before fabrication, and the company coordinates selection, templating, fabrication, and installation.

Owners' Background

Rob Wittmer has more than thirty years of experience in the construction industry. He grew up in the trade alongside his contractor father and for years ran CW Construction in California, where he developed residential and commercial projects. In 2020, he moved with his wife Sue to Southwest Florida and founded Straight Line Home Repairs & Cabinets. Sue handles design and planning; Rob brings hands-on execution experience.
